BTS Racing has officially announced its rider lineup for the 2025 MX2 World Championship, revealing an exciting pairing of rising talents Jens Walvoort and Oriol Oliver. Although BTS Racing is a new name in the MXGP paddock, the structure behind it carries a wealth of experience and proven success, marking them as a team to watch as the new season approaches.

The newly formed BTS Racing Team is the result of a strategic merger between two well-known entities in motocross: SB Racing and the BT Racing Team. BT Racing had made its mark in recent years, most notably with a standout run in the EMX250 Championship in 2022 and 2023. However, the team took a break in 2024 to restructure and refocus. That effort has now culminated in the formation of BTS Racing, combining the strengths and resources of both former teams to create a fresh but formidable presence in the MX2 class.

At the heart of the team’s 2025 campaign will be Dutch rider Jens Walvoort and Spanish standout Oriol Oliver—both determined and talented riders looking to build on their progress from the past season.

Jens Walvoort demonstrated consistent improvement throughout the 2024 season. He managed to score points in every moto, an impressive feat in the intensely competitive MX2 field. His efforts earned him a respectable 15th place overall in the championship standings. His steady development and commitment to performance make him a strong asset for BTS Racing as they look to break into higher tiers of the leaderboard in 2025.

Joining him is Oriol Oliver, who wrapped up the 2024 MX2 World Championship in 12th place. Oliver, known for his aggressive style and sharp race instincts, is targeting a breakthrough into the top 10 in the upcoming season. With a year of solid results behind him, 2025 could mark his evolution into a serious podium contender.

Both riders are already hard at work preparing for the new season. BTS Racing has laid out an organized pre-season schedule that includes a series of early races starting in February, designed to fine-tune both bike setup and rider readiness ahead of the world championship kickoff.

The 2025 MX2 World Championship season will officially get underway on March 2 in Cordoba, Argentina. The Argentine Grand Prix, known for its passionate fan base and challenging track conditions, will serve as a thrilling opening chapter for what promises to be an exciting year for BTS Racing.

While the BTS name may be new to fans, the team’s DNA is built on years of experience and success, and their presence in the MX2 paddock is already generating buzz. With strong leadership, competitive bikes, and two determined riders at the helm, BTS Racing looks well-positioned to make a statement in their debut season.

Fans and pundits alike will be keeping a close eye on Walvoort and Oliver as they chase top results and aim to leave their mark on the 2025 MX2 World Championship.
