There are some nights that stand out in your career, and for me, the 2025 ESPYs was definitely one of them. Stepping onto the ESPYs stage for the very first time was an experience I’ll never forget. From walking the red carpet to sharing the room with some of the most celebrated athletes in the world, every moment was filled with excitement, gratitude, and pure joy.
This year marked my debut appearance at the ESPY Awards, and to say the night was eventful would be an understatement. Not only did I get to attend one of the most prestigious nights in sports entertainment, but I was also nominated for Best Athlete, a recognition that still feels surreal. The nomination itself was an honor—a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion I’ve poured into my sport over the past year. To be listed alongside some of the greatest athletes across all disciplines was humbling, and it reminded me of why I love what I do.
But the night didn’t stop at just attending and being nominated—I also had the incredible opportunity to present an award during the ceremony. Standing on that iconic ESPYs stage, microphone in hand, looking out into a sea of sports legends, entertainers, and fans was a moment of true reflection for me. Just a few years ago, I was watching this event from home, inspired by the stories of perseverance and greatness being shared. Last night, I was part of it.
Of course, a special night like this wouldn’t be complete without feeling confident in how you show up—and for that, I have to give a huge thank you to @tjmaxx for styling me for the evening. The team helped me put together a look that felt both elegant and authentic to who I am. Fashion and personal style are important parts of how athletes present themselves off the field or track, and I’m grateful to have worked with a brand that made me feel comfortable and confident on such a big night.
