The Bengals should consider claiming tight end Greg Dulcich, who was recently released by the Broncos.
Dulcich, a former third-round pick, was waived by Denver on Monday. The 24-year-old has played in 16 games over the last three seasons, recording 41 receptions for 464 yards and two touchdowns. As a rookie, he had a solid campaign with 33 catches for 411 yards and two touchdowns. However, injuries limited him to just six games over the past two years, and with a coaching change in Denver, it’s clear that Dulcich might benefit from a fresh start.
In light of losing Erick All to a season-ending torn ACL, the Bengals should consider putting in a waiver claim for Dulcich, especially with their 10th priority. While the Bengals’ tight end group is fairly crowded, Dulcich could challenge Tanner McLachlan and Tanner Hudson as a significant receiving threat. The Bengals are set to face the Broncos in Week 17, making this a timely opportunity to add depth to their roster.
