Oregon’s backup offensive lineman, Michael Wooten, has confirmed his decision to transfer.

Wooten, who opted out of participating in spring practice, has declared his entry into the transfer portal. Standing at 6 feet 4 inches and weighing 310 pounds, Wooten saw action in two snaps against Stanford in 2022 while redshirting. He is now entering his redshirt-sophomore year with three years of eligibility remaining.

Ranked as a three-star recruit and placed at No. 600 nationally in the 247Sports Composite for the class of 2022, Wooten becomes the 13th UO scholarship player to enter the transfer portal this offseason.
